VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE POSTERS

Go have a look at the 25 unique posters exhibited as part of our conference and use your three votes (the small blue stickers from your badge) to determine the 3 winners. Voting will close Sunday 11:00 A.M.

Find out if your favourite won on Sunday during the award ceremony (13:45 – 14:30).

The winners will be invited to exhibit their work as part of our upcoming Science Projects Workshop in the Future Classroom Lab (flight, hotel and meals covered by Scientix).

SCIENTIX CONFERENCE TWITTER STORYTELLERS

Become the Scientix conference storytellers! The participant who tweets the most and the one that shares the most insightful content between 04 and 06 May, win a trip to another Scientix event in 2018.

Rules

Two awards:

  1. To the person with the greatest number of Scientix conference-related twitter posts with the hashtag #ScientixConf. Although we encourage you to retweet any interesting posts from any conference participant, in this competition, retweets or multiple tweets do not count.
  2. To the person with the most interesting tweet(s) with the hashtag #ScientixConf regarding the conference (yes, completely subjective and not open to discussion!)

Only posts from 16.00 Friday 04 May to 10.30 Sunday 06 May are eligible.

Post in the language, that makes most sense to your followers.

Scientix reserves the right to disqualify any conference participant or any particular tweet, should they violate the Twitter guidelines for contests: https://support.twitter.com/articles/68877-guidelines-for-contests-on-twitter

Eligibility

You must be a 2018 Scientix Conference participant, not directly involved in the Scientix project (i.e. EUN, MoEs and NCPs are not eligible). You can use your personal twitter account or a twitter account of your institution or school.

Some ideas to get you started

  • An interesting quote and a picture from a keynote or parallel session
  • Your views on the conference, talks, sessions, …
  • Link to resources, projects or initiatives presented
  • A picture (selfie?) from the opening reception, coffee break, exhibition area…
  • Why you came to the conference and what you expect from it

Tips

  • Short is good (use abbreviations to save space)
  • Pictures make a post more interesting
The winning ‘tweeterers’ will be announced during the conference closing session: 13.45-14.30, Sunday 06 May October.
