Leonardo 4 Children 2023 Awards: Climate, Equality, and Peace
The non-profit initiative “Leonardo 4 Children 2024 Awards: Climate, Equality, and Peace” is dedicated to addressing the issues of climate change, discrimination, and peace while supporting children in need through art and science education. It is open to children aged 6-12, teenagers 13-18, and young music composers aged 16-30, resident in the EU, as well as in other countries in cooperation with local partners.
The Awards are open until 15 May 2024, the winners will be announced by the Juries in June 2024, and the Workshop and Award ceremony will take place on the 4 October 2024.
The Awards include a new talent development programme with a budget for each winner (between €750 and €200 each) to further develop their skills in art & science, recognition, promotion, and publication of the winning works.

How to proceed?
- Sign in to the Scientix portal or the STEM Discovery Campaign application, following the procedure described here:https://www.scientix.eu/campaigns/sdc/sdc24.
- Fill in the submission form. Find below some additional information on how to do this.
- If you are planning to participate in one of the Leonardo 4 Children awards, write the title of the work that you are planning to use to apply, a short description of your plans and select one of the following categories: “Other” or “Creation of educational materials (e.g. learning scenarios, quizzes, games, guidelines…)”. When the website is requested add http://carano4children.org/leonardo4children-2024/.
- If you have already participated in one of the Leonardo 4 Children awards, write the title of the work that you have submitted to participate in the award, a short description of this work and your reflection on it, and select one of the following categories: “Other” or “Creation of other educational materials”.
