Future Proofing STEM Education: 21st Century Pedagogies for the Planet

In the ‘Future Proofing STEM Education’ series, pedagogical experts from the two initiatives and guest speakers from related projects explored how to transform STEM Education to achieve XXIst century challenges.

The first webinar in the future proofing series explores how innovative pedagogies like integrated STEM education, open schooling or outdoor learning can help teach about environmental sustainability and natural processes.  Illustrating theory with best practice, speakers introduced multiple examples from projects such as CROPS, OUTSTE(A)M and SLEs, which showed innovative approaches to implementing Green and Blue Education.
