CYBER, Conscious Youth Behaviours in Emerging Realities
Description
Funded by the Erasmus+ KA2 Cooperation Partnerships in School Education programme, the C.Y.B.E.R project addresses the urgent need to raise awareness among students, teachers, educators, parents, and the entire school community about the psychological and social risks associated with internet use by young people. These include cyberbullying, cybercrime, and other online threats that affect individuals and their surroundings.
The project aims to strengthen the cyber resilience of European schools by embedding critical topics such as cyber threats and cyberpsychology into the classroom curriculum. Through clearly defined procedures on cyber and data protection, schools participating in C.Y.B.E.R will work towards obtaining the CYBER certification, which sets the standards for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving information security management within the educational environment.
With partners from Greece, Italy, Slovakia, Romania, and Portugal, the project brings together diverse expertise to create safer and more informed school communities across Europe
