Energy of Future Generations
Description
The project aims to address several critical issues and needs, focusing on the urgency for sustainable energy solutions, the necessity of informed and engaged young citizens, and the importance of cross-border collaboration in tackling global challenges such as the climate crisis. The objectives we aim to achieve are:
- Educate and Inform:
To provide participants with comprehensive knowledge about sustainable energy, including the latest developments, challenges, and opportunities in the field. Visiting Energoland, an interactive energy-themed park, will offer hands-on learning experiences about various forms of energy production and their impacts. We will explain the functioning and key components of carbon-free and renewable energy production, as well as the transportation and storage of electricity. This will be achieved through theoretical educational sessions and on-site power plant visits, allowing participants to see theoretical knowledge in practice. We aim to visit hydroelectric and nuclear power stations.
- Personal Competencies:
To develop key competencies and skills related to sustainable energy, including critical thinking, problem-solving, project management, and advocacy. Workshops and activities will be designed around these skills to prepare participants for future endeavors in the energy sector or related fields.
- Promote Active Engagement:
To inspire participants to become actively involved in sustainability and energy issues, equipping them with the tools and confidence to initiate change within their communities and beyond.
- Foster Cross-Cultural Understanding and Collaboration:
To create a platform for young people from diverse backgrounds to share ideas, collaborate on projects, and build networks that transcend geographical boundaries. This exchange will highlight the importance of collective action in addressing global challenges.
Through interactive learning experiences, skill-building workshops, and cross-cultural collaboration, the project aims to cultivate a cohort of young individuals ready to tackle energy challenges and advocate for sustainable solutions, embodying the core aims of Erasmus+ by promoting learning mobility, cooperation, and policy development in the field of youth.

Papers
The project plans to implement a series of interactive and educational activities involving two facilitators and a total of 30 participants (10 with fewer opportunities who are facing social, economic, or geographical barriers), with a balanced representation from Slovakia, Romania, Germany, Lithuania, and Poland, ensuring diversity in terms of geography, gender, and opportunities. The participants are young individuals aged between 16 to 23 years, along with group leaders aged 18 and above, engaged or interested in the topic of renewable energy.
