FEMLEAD: Fostering FeMale participation and LEADership in open science initiatives
FEMLEAD introduces a new model for Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) to implement comprehensive measures for reducing the gender gap in STEM, assuming a central role in social change. It incorporates a multi-stakeholder approach to advance Open Science practices and STEM initiatives in HEIs, promoting gender diversity, inclusivity, and systematization. HEI staff, students, researchers, and (minority) women communities, research organizations and policymakers are trained and mobilized to facilitate women’s participation.
EcoStories: Bridging Borders through Citizen Science for Inclusive STEM and Environmental Action
EcoStories is an Erasmus+-funded cooperation partnership in school education that brings together secondary schools and research organisations from Cyprus, Greece, Croatia, and Germany to address a dual challenge: the social inclusion of migrant pupils and the development of science literacy in the face of climate change. Through structured Citizen Science (CS) activities, the project transforms secondary school classrooms into inclusive research communities where local and migrant students investigate real environmental issues together, generating new data while building intercultural understanding and STEM competences.

ERTA, the European Robotics Teachers’ Academy, strengthens teacher education in Educational Robotics and Computational Thinking. By connecting universities, schools, teacher educators, researchers, and policymakers across Europe, ERTA develops innovative training opportunities, practical resources, and a collaborative Community of Practice to support both initial teacher education and continuous professional development.

Through 3D printing, 3D scanning, and CNC machining, the project equips students and trainers with the digital skills needed for the workplaces of tomorrow.
