New STEM Job Profile: Project Manager in Marine Applications!

Meet Lisa Puel, a 25-year-old Project Manager for Marine Europe at Cummins in France, who makes it happen. Her work draws on mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity, and programming, but just as much on communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Lisa's profile is a great classroom resource to show students that STEM careers are rarely just about one subject. Project management connects technical knowledge with real-world skills like coordinating teams, managing deadlines, and building customer relationships.

Each profile breaks down the key skills involved in the job, from operation monitoring and customer relationship management to curiosity and collaboration, giving students a concrete and relatable picture of what a STEM career is like.
