NBS Academy celebrates the successful completion of its Virtual Reality learning activities

NBS Academy, Scientix® Partner Project, is pleased to announce the successful completion of its Virtual Reality (VR) learning activities, marking an exciting moment in the project’s journey to deliver engaging, innovative and accessible learning experiences around nature-based solutions.

Over the past months, participants have taken part in immersive VR sessions designed to make complex concepts easier to grasp, encourage active learning and bring real-world NBS challenges and solutions closer to learners and stakeholders.

The completion of these VR activities represents a key achievement for the project and a strong example of how digital tools can enrich education and training.

Immersive learning in action

The VR activities were designed to support learners through interactive scenarios and guided experiences, helping them explore nature-based solutions in a practical and memorable way.

Through the VR sessions, participants experienced realistic environments and challenges, engaged with content in a hands-on and learner-centred format and reflected on how NBS approaches can be applied in different contexts.

This next phase will also include the second phase of the NBS Academy European Campaign, to further amplify outreach, engagement and visibility across Europe.
