eTwinning Annual Conference: Celebrating What Unites Us

Scientix® is proud to support the 2025 eTwinning annual conference, which will bring together teachers, schools and education stakeholders from across Europe to celebrate and explore how education can foster active citizenship, democratic participation and shared values. The conference will be awarding the winners of the 2025 eTwinning European prizes and hearing about their projects and experiences.

This year’s event will also launch the new 2025/26 eTwinning theme, “Skills for Life”, focusing on the essential skills that help young people thrive – from mathematics and science to literacy, digital and citizenship skills.

Participants can look forward to:

• an opening speech by the European Commission Executive Vice-President for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness, Roxana Mînzatu
• inspiring keynote speeches by Louisa Slavkova, founder of the Sofia Platform and CIVICS education hub, advisory member of Networking European Civic Education (NECE), and João Marques Costa, Director at the European Agency for Special Needs and Inclusive Education
• discussions, practical workshops and networking opportunities designed to strengthen teachers’ professional skills and give inspiration for new projects
• best practice-sharing sessions during panels and teach-meets

How to attend?

The annual conference is taking place on 23–25 October both online and onsite in Brussels. While onsite participation and certain parts of the online programme are by invitation only, everyone is welcome to join us for the live streaming of the plenary sessions.
