Final days to apply: BlueLightS 2nd Call for Blue Challenges in European Schools!

Scientix® invites schools across Europe to apply to the 2nd BlueLightS call before 25 September 2025!

The BlueLightS project is offering funding of up to €3,000 per school for short (2–5 months) “Blue Challenges”, student-led projects that connect classrooms with the urgent mission of protecting our rivers, lakes, and oceans.

Schools are encouraged to act fast and design projects that:

  • Contribute to the EU Mission: Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030
  • Involve creative, hands-on learning about aquatic environments
  • Foster intercultural collaboration (e.g. through eTwinning)
  • Work towards the European Blue School label

Who can apply: Primary, secondary, and vocational schools in EU-27 Member States or Horizon Europe associated countries (excluding schools already funded by ProBleu or SHORE).
