Policy Discussions with Scientix®: Impactful Climate Change Education and Overcoming the Shortage of STEM Teachers
The Scientix Ministries of Education STEM representatives Working Group (MoE STEM WG) closed online workshop was organised in collaboration with Carbon Act on the 3rd of July 2025.
This high-level event brought together STEM Representatives from 13 Ministries of Education (Belgium - Flanders, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland and Türkiye) with Scientix® and Carbon Act pedagogy experts to discuss two key issues in education today, educating students on climate change and overcoming the persistent shortage of STEM teachers facing Europe.
During a dynamic online discussion, the representatives discussed the challenges and opportunities on these two topics, identifying tested and untested solutions to overcome obstacles.
