Support Your Students to Grow Greener: New Resources and Recommendations Now Available from Life Terra!
How can we support educators in encouraging students to take meaningful climate action, starting with something as tangible as planting trees? How can schools make environmental education a hands-on, everyday reality?
Three new publications from the Life Terra project address these questions around a shared goal: supporting teachers and schools to integrate planting activities and sustainability learning into regular classroom practice. Each document is designed for a specific audience, educators, school leaders, or policymakers, but they all revolve around this common objective.
Rooted in the European Green Competence Framework (GreenComp), the publications combine research insights, practical tools, and policy recommendations to help embed sustainability in education across Europe.

Leveraging Life Terra Resources to Inspire Climate Action: Through the Lens of Research and GreenComp
This analytical report examines the research behind Life Terra’s educational approach. It explores how the initiative’s tools and activities align with the GreenComp framework, a recognised benchmark for sustainability competencies. By doing so, it strengthens the case for the other two documents, connecting pedagogy, policy, and practice in a cohesive and evidence-based way.
