Your school could receive up to €7,500 in funding to support projects that promote water and ocean literacy!

The 4th ProBleu Call is now open, offering funding for creative projects that involve students, increase environmental awareness, and help protect our planet’s waters.

The project ProBleu is part of the EU’s Mission to “Restore Our Ocean and Waters by 2030” and your school could be part of the solution. This is a chance to be part of educating the next generation about blue sustainability, covering both marine and freshwater ecosystems.

What Kind of Projects Are Eligible?

Projects should focus on key issues like reducing plastic waste, ending destructive fishing practices, restoring rivers, promoting renewable ocean energy, or protecting marine biodiversity. If your school has a creative idea that deals with any of these challenges, now’s the time to act!

What Activities Can Be Included?

Get creative! Your project could include in-class lessons, citizen science projects, field trips, lab experiments, exhibitions, and even competitions. Successful projects will produce lasting educational materials that other schools can use, leaving a long-term impact beyond your classroom.

How Much Funding Is Available?

Grants are available in three tiers: €2,500, €5,000, and €7,500. ProBleu aims to support at least 36 schools, with priority given to schools from regions that haven’t previously received funding or aren’t yet part of the Network of European Blue Schools (NEBS).
