This series delves into the science of climate change and explores the role of education in addressing this global challenge. By bringing together scientists, educators, and policymakers from across Europe, the series aims to inspire educators and provide them with high-quality resources to integrate climate education into their lessons.

The interviews cover a wide range of topics. Experts featured include Dr. Agata Goździk (Institute of Geophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences), Michał Brennek (Institute of Geophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences), and Prof. Vladimir Đurđević (University of Belgrade), who discuss the science of climate change, including the role of the Arctic, greenhouse gases, and human contributions to global warming. Dr. Igor Leščešen (University of Novi Sad), Prof. Sally Windsor (University of Gothenburg), and Dr. Ingela Bursjöö (University of Gothenburg) focus on how climate change is taught in schools and ways educators can incorporate green skills and sustainability into the curriculum. Sustainability experts like Olivia Copsey (Foundation for Environmental Education and Eco-Schools), Tremeur Denigot (Education for Climate Coalition and Joint Research Center), and Valeria Napoli (GreenComp Community and Joint Research Center) highlight initiatives and frameworks such as Eco-Schools and GreenComp, which promote sustainable development and equip students with the skills needed to take climate action.

Check out the full interview series on the Carbon Act project website. All interviews are available in English with subtitles.
