Do you want to be a Scientix® Ambassador? Call now open!
Are you a dynamic, motivated and creative teacher or educator? Interested in joining the Scientix® Ambassadors Panel? Applications are now open.
The Scientix Ambassadors Panel already consists of more than 1400 Scientix Ambassadors. Scientix Ambassadors are active or retired teachers, and other educators, from early childhood and care to researchers in higher education or science and non-science educators in both formal and non-formal settings. They come from anywhere in the world and they are willing to support the dissemination of Scientix, as well as the exchange of practices and knowledge between all STEM education stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Scientix Ambassadors help share Scientix activities at national level and play an active role in supporting innovation in STEM education in their countries. Their work is essential to supporting, expanding and consolidating a community whose core values are sharing good classroom practice in the STEM area and ensuring that students are equipped with the skills they need to succeed as adults. Scientix already has more than 1400 active Ambassadors and is open to additional teachers and educators.
Selection Criteria
Scientix Ambassadors act on a voluntary basis and the requirements to become an Ambassador in this call are:
- Registering in the Scientix portal (if you haven't already) to obtain your EUN ID credentials.
- Creating an account in the Scientix Community Tool to show the world your commitment to STEM education.
- Successfully completing one Scientix MOOC from the list below:
- Exploring nature-based solutions in your classroom and beyond (13 January 2025 – 19 February 2025, open for registration)
- EmpowerED educators: becoming pedagogical mentors for EdTech co-design (10 February 2025 – 19 March 2025, open for registration)
- Soil education: an integrated STEM approach (3 March 2025 – 9 April 2025, open for registration)
Please note that successful completion means you have obtained the official certificate issued by European Schoolnet Academy.
- Registering at least one STEM activity on the Map of the STEM Discovery Campaign 2025.
- Completing the application form before 30th April 2025.
- Approval by the Ministries of Education in the corresponding countries. (Applicants are not required to do anything for this step. European Schoolnet is in charge of this step and liaises directly with the relevant Ministries of Education).
To preserve the geographical balance of Scientix Ambassadors, countries that currently have more than 150 Scientix Ambassadors might have limited places for new Scientix Ambassadors, depending on the instructions received from the relevant Ministry of Education.
- Successfully completing the online Scientix Ambassadors Training Course (SATC). Invitation to join the SATC will only be possible if steps 1 to 6 have been completed. The course will run for three weeks during May 2025. Exact start date to be shared later with successful applicants.

Steps 1 to 5 need to be completed by 30th of April 2025 (23:59 CET).
