Transform Your Role in Education with the EmpowerED Educators MOOC!
The EmpowerED Educators: Becoming Pedagogical Mentors for EdTech Co-Design MOOC launches on February 10, 2025, offering educators an opportunity to be part of the future of educational technology (EdTech).
This online course is designed for experienced teachers, trainers, school leaders, and other educational professionals eager to collaborate with EdTech developers and co-create impactful, technology-driven solutions for classrooms.
Over four weeks, participants will explore:
- The current EdTech landscape and teachers’ roles within it.
- The application of pedagogical theories, such as constructivism and behaviourism, to practical EdTech innovation.
- Design thinking and data analysis for creating user-centred, ethical, and effective EdTech solutions.
- Strategies for building Communities of Practice to amplify impact and promote collaboration.
Through engaging modules, participants will develop their Pedagogical Mentor Reflective Portfolio, the final activity that combines self-assessment, peer feedback, and practical insights into their evolving role as leaders in EdTech co-design.
