First STEAM-STREAMS results published
The three innovative schools selected for the STEAM-STREAMS (Wellbeing - Green - Sustainability) project have posted first results of students’ work related to the project.
The participating schools are Malahide Portmarnock ETNS, Our Lady of Lourdes NS and Assumption Senior Girls' NS.
Students at these schools have produced their first remarkable achievements: from building their own model rollercoasters themed around sustainable biospheres, to designing a multifunctional outdoor garden space on the grounds of the school.
These activities gave them an opportunity to explore biodiversity and incorporate emerging technologies in sustainable ways. Thus, they acquired the tools to best shape their future and were inspired to learn how to contribute towards a better world.
You can find more results of STEM projects on this special website, where you can see what students are creating and designing in their whole-school communities to showcase their work on STREAMS education and climate action locally.
