3.1 Scientific Summer Campus: promoting interaction between young people and real actors of science and technology

Abstract
In 2010, the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology and the Spanish Ministry of Education launched the “Scientific Summer Campus” programme, addressing 300 Secondary School students (aged 15 - 17), who spent 14 days in laboratories and research departments of 11 Spanish universities, bringing together researchers, teachers and students. This year, 1200 students and 20 Universities will participate in the initiative.
