Join the Scientix team and work as Scientix Ambassador in your country

Call for Scientix 2 Teacher’s Panel, Cycle 2: September 2014 – March 2015

Teachers are invited to apply to be part of the Teachers' Panel for Cycle 2 which will run between September 2014 and March 2015, as either Scientix Ambassadors (teachers or ex-teachers with experience in disseminating science education, in sharing their expertise, participating in European projects, etc.) or Scientix Deputy Ambassadors (teachers looking to contribute to science education in Europe with limited experience in European projects).

The teachers panel provides support through numerous activities such as: establishing scientific and pedagogical criteria for content collection; analysing, commenting, and rating Scientix teaching materials and resources; giving feedback on the usability of the portal and its services; providing input into the preparation of the European conference; monitoring the dissemination of the project at regional and national level; participating in national and international conferences and events to present the project and participating actively in the communities of practice accessible on the portal.

The Teacher's Panel will be made up of 30 Ambassadors and 60 Deputy Ambassadors from the following countries: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, FYROM, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and United Kingdom.

Update: Positions for most countries have been already covered. Teachers from Norway, Turkey, UK, Albania, Moldova, Austria and Montenegro are especially encouraged to apply.
