At my school I teach at different levels of science and I do not have much laboratory time but I have used online simulations and the students seem to really enjoy the simulations. I have thought about incorporating them as a pre-laboratory activity, with the students using the simulation and answering some questions before coming into the laboratory and having thereby some hands-on experience. Do you have any experience with an approach like this?

One big advantage is that the main keywords for each suggested activity are in many languages, including Catalan!
