2021 Back to School Campaign - STEM Career Days
Every year, the STEM Alliance organises the "Back to School Campaign" to motivate young people for STEM subjects and careers, mobilising a capable and innovative workforce in Europe. The 2021 Back to School Campaign focuses on the topic of "STEM Careers" to inspire teachers to spark interest on STEM in their classrooms and to encourage students in finding their route in the STEM field.
The peak event of the Back to School Campaign will be the "2021 STEM Career Days", taking place initially from 2 to 19 November 2021, and now extended throughout November due to its success. The STEM Career Days will gather key education organisations and industry partners to provide networking opportunities, disseminate information about STEM career skills, and give visibility to current and future working opportunities. To do so, a variety of activities including webinars with experts, chats with professionals and other events will be organised to facilitate the relationship between industries and schools. Co-organised with Scientix and the STE(A)M IT project, the aim of the "2021 STEM Career Days" is to offer an open space for raising awareness about the importance of STEM for the students' future lives.
