This year’s Scientix STEM Discovery Campaign was a joint international initiative co-organized with the Life Terra project. The initiative invited educators, projects, organisations, libraries, schools, universities, youth clubs and all interested stakeholders across Europe and beyond to celebrate careers and studies in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The campaign ran from 1 February to 30 April 2024, with a peak of activities from 24-30 April.
Anyone who organised, contributed to, or attended any action/activity that promotes STEM at any time since May 2023 was encouraged to include it on the campaign map!
An action or activity could take many forms: organising or attending an event; implementing a learning scenario; attending or organising a workshop, festival, or webinar, or inviting speakers to your class; organising a project-like activity and discussing the outcomes with students/participants of these educational activities.
All participants who submitted to the STEM Discovery Campaign Map were eligible for one or more Scientix Awards.
