Media, parents, teachers are role models for students. What do you think about role models in science?
What weight do teachers have?

The Nobel prize is the most know international prize. It is a very important rolle model. Thats why some countries are using the four female nobel prizes on the International Chemistry Year as rolle models to encourage girls to study science.

Sure, Nobel prizes are an excellent place to start and discuss why historically many women were left aside when the prize was given to a tema where they participted. There are a nnumber of cases in Physics, Maths, Medicine, etc.

Sure! In my area we are trying to convince retired teachers (rather, selected retired teachers) to come and visit the school and talk to the students about that issue

I have started this project. I t turns out that retired high school teachers are quite willing to participate in out of school activites, and even in coaching younger colleagues, I'll let you know about the future developments of my plans!
