<strong>Green Infrastructure in Action: A Brief Overview</strong>Our school is taking meaningful steps towards a greener future by implementing Nature-Based Solutions (NBS). Students and teachers work together to transform our environment by:<ul style="list-style: disc outside;"><li><strong>Greening the School:</strong> Planting flowers and trees, creating a vibrant school garden, and establishing green corners around the building.</li><li><strong>Supporting Biodiversity:</strong> Building a bee hotel to aid pollinators and enhance local biodiversity.</li><li><strong>Learning by Doing:</strong> Through these activities, students gain hands-on experience in environmental care, teamwork, and sustainability.</li></ul>Inspired by the success at school, our students extended their efforts into the community by exploring and mapping the city’s green spaces. Public areas, including the “Marshal Tito” street and the center of Timjanik, have been revitalized with green areas, urban furniture, and pathways.
