Now that the school term has restarted, this will be a good source of information, materials and interaction among us members.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;i wish to contribute with a link from a recent visit to Bogotá, where they have a long experience in a program for elementary schools that uses interactive engagement and Inquiry Based approaches to science deducation.     <summary type="html">Yes, and as the proposal said, use spoons, pieces of (bottle) glass, etc. Anything is useful.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And this reminds me of a Cuban physicist who gave a talk/workshop once in a meeting, and he used any reflected light as a SOURCE of light. He did some nice experiments that way!!!</summary>

    <summary type="html">Hi, I&amp;#39;m  a Portuguese physics and chemistry teacher and I&amp;#39;m participating with 40 of my students in spice.&lt;br /&gt;My 13 year old students have already done the first activity (optics).&lt;br /&gt;Because I didn&amp;#39;t have enough lenses so they can work in groups I went to a glasses store and they were happy to give me a few.&lt;br /&gt;Sometimes we just have to improvise!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Filipa Silva</summary>
