[Spice CoP] 2 - IBSME: school and teacher collaboration

Today´s Europe tries to develop a sustainable scientific culture that meets society’s requirements for more scientifically & technologically skilled workers. Teaching of MST subjects at primary and secondary schools must be based on innovative pedagogical practice, specially those based on inquiry-based learning, to enhance pupil motivation for science studies.

The topic of this community of practice is to involve teachers in a discussion about how to effectively collaborate and share good and innovative practices and teaching materials among European teachers and schools.

Hello Peter,

I agree, it does indeed take quite a few clicks to get the Scientix discussion fora and then to the particular thread you are interested in.
At the moment, we are thinking about the ways to make the fora more easily accessible from the Scientix homepage, hopefully we'll come up soon with a nice solution...

However, even now there is an easy way how to access the discussions you want to participate in: you can subscribe to a particular thread.

Subscribers receive an e-mail notification whenever someone adds a new post together with a direct link to the thread in question. That way they can react to new post quickly and access it right from the inbox.

You will find the button to subscribe to a thread ion the very top of the thread.

I hope you find it useful.

Best regards

Premysl
Scientix web editor
