    <summary type="html">I know of a colleague that keeps all those records when he is designing an educational  research experiment. Maybe we need some incentive to keep track and analyse those data. But it would be a very good idea indeed!!!</summary>

    <summary type="html">A very interessting paper, Valerie, and it answers also partially the other thread on assessment on informal activities.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is a quote from the reference you give: &amp;#34;Formative Assessment Is Responsive in That It Can Be Informal. The teachers referred to assessment as both formal and informal. In saying this, they were usually referring to whether the information gathered was recorded and reported in some way or whether it was used in the classroom activities, without a written record being made. Formative assessment tended to be informal, with no written record of the information gathered.&amp;#34;</summary>

    <summary type="html">Hi Carlos&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I found this interesting paper about formative assessment in Science Education. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The paper describe the formative assessment done in some New Zeland classrooms and explore the practice of some science teachers.&lt;br /&gt; It was published  in 2000, in ten years we probably have had some updating about that &lt;img alt="emoticon" src="https://www.scientix.eu/o/scientix-2025-theme/images/emoticons/happy.gif" &gt; But I think the paper could be a good start point to discuss on assessment and inquire about it &lt;img alt="emoticon" src="https://www.scientix.eu/o/scientix-2025-theme/images/emoticons/happy.gif" &gt;</summary>

    <summary type="html">This is one of the biggest discussions among Portuguese teachers now a days:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What is the best way to do the assessement of skills?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Wich ones are more important in MST?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Are lab skills important?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I think that evaluate skills is a challenge and for young students makes more sense to evaluate skills than concepts. What is your opinion?</summary>
