13th Science Projects Workshop in the Future Classroom Lab

The 13th Science Projects Workshop in the Future Classroom Lab, for primary and/or secondary school career counsellors and/or STEM teachers acting as career counsellors in their centres, organized by Scientix in collaboration with the STEM Alliance and OPENSKIMR will take place in Brussels in October 2016, from Friday 14 (starting time: 19:30) to Sunday 16 (end ~14h).

The programme will include:

Up to 50 participants are expected to join the event (including 40 invited primary and/or secondary school career counsellors and/or STEM teachers acting as career counsellors in their centres new to the international Scientix events).

Selection of participants:

  • Each member of the Ministries of Education STEM representatives working group (MoE STEM WG) will select up to two primary and/or secondary school career counsellors and/or STEM teachers acting as career counsellors in their centres. Countries that are members of the MoE STEM WG: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain and Turkey.
  • Depending on the places left, additional primary and/or secondary school career counsellors and/or STEM teachers, acting as career counsellors in their centres coming from countries not represented in the Working Group will be invited following the call for applications that can be found bellow. Scientix will cover the flight to/from Brussels, the hotel for the nights of Friday and Saturday and all meals from Friday night to Sunday lunch included. Local transport, travel to/from airport, and health insurance are at the participants' expenses.
