The term electricity is used in everyday life to describe a wide range of phenomena involving the flow of electric current. However, electricity is a general term and the variety of the phenomena of electricity is described with more specific terms. In order to begin this lesson, students should brainstorm with a teacher and peers looking for keywords that come to mind when you hear the term 'electricity'. In the Orientation phase students will familiarize themselves with electric circuits.
