$image_alt.data

SCIRAN (Science Radio Net) aimed at initiating and growing a network of radio producers and broadcasters in the area of research and science.

The project produced novel science and research programmes and broadcast the programmes in EU countries and internationally. This network targeted specifically young audiences, using both internet radio channels and traditional air radio for distribution.

SCIRAN also involved young people as producers while ensuring high-quality professional productions. Students thus had the opportunity to learn about various science topics and how to work with multimedia and broadcasting equipment.
