A science fair for schools and institutions (museums, research centres, universities, etc.) aiming at giving them the opportunity to participate by showing their science projects to the general public.
The "Scientific Weekend" (Finde Científico) is a science fair held outdoors in which schools and institutions (museums, research centres, universities, etc.) participate by showing their science projects to the general public.
Participating schools are selected and showcased in a public announcement for the presentation of school science projects, which are evaluated by an external committee.
This direct participation, in which pupils are responsible for explaining the various workshops, experiments or demonstrations, allows them to gain first-hand experience with science, simultaneously acting as pupils and communicators. During the two days of the event, more than 10,000 people come to participate in the various activities scheduled.
