VeNaDo, Věda na dosah ruky (Science within our grasp)
The project aimed at developing education researchers and university students' communication skills and improving their ability to popularise science.
Beneficiaries had the opportunity to attend seminars and workshops (also led by foreign experts) and to take part in a short-term mobility at universities and research institutions abroad. As a result, activities for both secondary school students and teachers in order to popularise science (workshops for teachers; students had a chance to take a look inside scientific laboratories) were developed. Teaching materials which secondary school teachers may use in their lessons were also prepared. These teaching materials were prepared in cooperation with secondary school teachers, making it possible to share good practice and to transfer knowledge and experience among researchers, university students and secondary school teachers.
