The Bioscope is a public laboratory devoted to education in biomedicine and the life sciences for school children and the general public.

In an immersive, interactive and innovative space, participants perform scientific experiments, contribute to citizen science projects and reflect on key issues concerning science and society.

The Bioscope works closely with researchers in science education to develop innovative ways to teach science, empirically evaluate the efficiency of these new methods and make them widely available.

The project focuses on cooperative learning, meaningful learning, citizen science and social media, offering innovative educational activities in genetics, biodiversity, neurosciences and science & society.
