(R)amène ta Science!
Peer-to-peer knowledge transfer to young people
“(R)amène ta Science!” offers lower secondary school students (age 12-15) the opportunity to organise a science fair at their school for their peers with the help of a science facilitator from the University of Geneva.
Basic information
Some of the kits, which are developed by specialists in the fields, are linked to actual on-going research at the University of Geneva.
“(R)amène ta Science!” is a set of nine science kits in the fields of astronomy, bioinformatics, biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, neuroscience and environmental and Earth science. Kits are mobile and easy to use; they allow students to approach complicated scientific topics. The first step is that of appropriation, where motivated students come to University of Geneva experts for an initiation in a scientific field. The second step is that of restitution, where students organise with their school a science fair during which they present what they have learned to their peers.
