The European Incubation-Acceleration programme that helps EdTech start-ups/SMEs turn ideas into market-ready products.

IMPACT EdTech is a pan-European programme designed for EdTech start-ups/SMEs to break the barriers to education and enhance learning experiences in a new era of human-centred digital education.

The ultimate goal is to support European start-ups/SMEs to move from promising prototypes to viable products, and to involve educators and learning in testing cutting-edge educational solutions. The project set up a specific incubation environment offering both educational and business support.

IMPACT EdTech is not a research project.

Teachers and educators were involved in several activities.

  • Mentoring: the project onboarded teachers and educators as mentors to the EdTech start-ups. Each start-up was matched with one educational mentor. They coached the team and helped them improve their value proposition.
  • Piloting: the project also relied on teacher-testers who tried the EdTech solutions in their classroom with their students. They provided feedback on their piloting experience.
