Through the story “The algae who wanted to be a flower”, young students can observe and distinguish the plants diversity in the garden, understand plants evolution and the main five groups of the plant kingdom. This resorce is localized in the Botanical Garden of the University of Coimbra (Portugal) but it can be easily adapted to different botanical gardens, national parks or similars.
