Description
With industry, agriculture and recreation placing greater pressure on our water supplies than ever before, how can we ensure we have a reliable supply of drinking water? This resource introduces the work of environmental engineer Professor Li Li (and her team at the Li Reactive Water Group) in developing computer models to predict how water quality is affected by climate change and human activity. This resource includes an interview with Professor Li and an insight into how to become an environmental engineer. It also includes an activity sheet, containing ‘thinking points’ (based on Bloom’s Taxonomy) to prompt students to reflect on Professor Li’s work and activities that students can do at home or in class.
