The Acrobat is a moving toy made from paper, wooden skewers, corks/plastic discs and split pins, that makes acrobatic movements when the linkages are complete and a rotation movement is made manually. During the construction process of the Acrobat, students will learn about physics and mechanisms, and will be introduced to mathematical concepts within the construction and assembly process and biology concepts about the parts of the human body. In addition, they will exercise specific soft skills like problem solving and creativity.
