This training programme has been developed in the framework of the spaceEU project. This course aimed to bring together Catholic and independent schools in Malta on the common theme of Space in celebrating the World Space Week event. Contributions from local partners include Stella Maris College Gzira for the availability of the venue, the Malta Council for Science and Technology for the AstroPi programme, Euro Media Forum for the certificate for participants and acting as ushers on the day. The Astronomical Society of Malta were also approached by the Secretariat for Catholic Education for this successful event. Planning for the event started as from January 2019. A circular was issued in January 2019 to call on interested schools. Independent schools applied and several meetings were held both with the partners in the initial stages and then with the Science teachers from each of the schools as from August 2019 to ensure that the workshops were according to the interests of the audience.
