Age range: 12 - 13
Resource type: lesson plan
Author: Thomas Roche
This resource is one of the 36 Scientix lesson plans that were developed during the “STEM Is Everywhere!” MOOC, the first ever online course funded and carried out exclusively by Scientix and hosted on the EUN Academy. The course aimed to connect Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) classes with “real life” and supported teachers in integrating real-world problems into their STEM lessons and practices. By the end of this lesson, the student will learn how to gather digital data with the main aim of creating mathematical scenarios and solve problems within the school context; analyse, evaluate and package digital data, present findings and answer questions and expand into other areas of the national curriculum.
