Currents are cohesive streams of seawater that circulate through the ocean. Oceanic circulation influences climate patterns, weather, landscapes. It has a large impact on our lives. The constantly moving system of deep-ocean circulation driven by temperature and salinity is called Global Conveyor Belt. How does it look like in miniature? You can easily recreate this phenomenon in the classroom or at home with this experiment. No special equipment is required.
