This scenario is about how to create "a heart" in order to make a special "Valentine card" using the property of GeoGebra (and other dynamic geometry software) for geometrical objects (points, lines, circles, etc.) to leave a "trace" when moving. The students get familiar with the cardioide as a "locus of points" and explore with various geometric constructions whose trace resembles a heart. The scenario reflects the ideology of the MaSciL project of integrating the Inquiry Based Learning with the World of Work (in this case – the graphic design applications for decorative arts).
