The countdown starts until the STEM Discovery Week on 22-29 April 2016! We will celebrate the opportunities business-education collaboration offers to schools and companies to improve STEM teaching, learning and careers.

During the STEM Discovery Week, get involved & support the STEM Alliance, organise your STEM event, participate to the STEM4You competition and engage in the European online event.

You can participate in STEM Discovery Week by submitting your STEM-related event to be featured on the STEM Alliance's event map below! If you're a teacher or a student, you can also participate in our STEM4YOU competition by submitting a video on the importance of STEM in our lives. Submit your entry by 15 May 2016 and you can win an two-day trip to a prize event!

Join STEM4YOU!

The STEM Alliance, an initiative that brings together industries, Ministries of Education and education stakeholders to promote science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) education and careers, is launching an international competition as part of the STEM Discovery Campaign this spring.

Are you interested in exciting activities that can motivate your students about STEM subjects? Would you like to be invited to a prize event and meet inspiring professionals from companies in the STEM field? Then the STEM4YOU competition is a perfect opportunity for you!

Two competition categories!

Event category

Challenge the class to organise a STEM Discovery event with exciting and special activities in the STEM Discovery Week - 22 to 29 April 2016. Submit an entry with information about your STEM Discovery event: submit pictures, your event plan, explain how you prepared the event and how it was integrated into your classroom activity, share the programme and materials from the event (poster, leaflet, lesson plan, etc.) and add the STEM Alliance logo to your event material and to your website.

Video Category

Create a video to explain why STEM careers and studies matter! Teachers and pupils are invited to create and submit a short video (no more than 1:30 min) on the importance of STEM studies and careers.
