Teachers' Autumn Workshop in Reykjavík

Over the weekend of 25 to 27 September 2015, 43 Scientix Ambassadors and Deputy Ambassadors from around Europe met in the city of Reykjavik, Iceland, where they attended the second and last of the Scientix Teachers' Autumn Workshops.

Together for the future of STEM

557 schools in the Eratosthenes experiment

Hundreds of students went out at noon on 23 September 2015 to measure the length of a shadow reflected from a one meter long stick which was standing upright. Classes that participated in this experiment can submit photos of it by 23 October 2015, possibly winning a scholarship for a summer academy.
