The Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic welcomed the participants and discussed the importance of science activities in the country.

EMINENT 2015 highlights the importance of ‘STEM in Education and Life'

Society as a whole benefits from a better education in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). That was the general conclusion of speaker after speaker who attended this year's Eminent event (Expert Meeting In Education Networking) in Barcelona on 19 and 20 November 2015. And it was a message welcomed by the nearly 260 STEM professionals who gathered for the event.

Heads of schools inspired by Scientix

A total of 53 heads of schools in Europe left Brussels on 8 November 2015, inspired by ideas that were presented to them at a Science Projects Workshop at the Future Classroom Lab. This training helps them to develop programmes of their own to get students more interested in science, technology, engineering and maths subjects (STEM).
