Enhancing STEM practice and strategy in secondary schools

Secondary school teachers are invited to register for a course at the Future Classroom Lab by European Schoolnet, dedicated to the enhancement of practice and strategy in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in secondary schools. The course is held in Brussels, Belgium, from 23 to 27 April 2019.

Participate in the new Think Biobased Challenge

Students at colleges and universities in Europe are invited to design and submit biobased educational materials, intended for primary and secondary education, for the international Think Biobased Challenge. The best entries are awarded a cash prize of 9,000 euros and the educational materials are added to a new repository of the BioCannDo project.

Teachers’ responses analysed in a new Scientix Observatory report

The data presented in a new Scientix Observatory report shows that teachers of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) need more support, training and tools for implementing innovative pedagogies in schools. This report is based on an analysis of 3,780 responses from STEM teachers in secondary schools in 38 European countries in a survey carried out earlier this year by Scientix, with the support of European Schoolnet and Texas Instruments.
