The Scientix National Conference was embedded with this major event, allowing the organizers to raise the number of participants from the previous year’s 600 to close to 900 participants. The event also included a network and meeting track, facilitated by Scientix, where those present were invited to discuss and share experiences related to STEM education, as well as different theScientix National Conference Denmarkmatic areas, where participants were invited to learn more about a variety of topics related to Science Education, ranging from new developments in didactic research to cross-border collaboration between teachers and new technologies that can be introduced in the classrooms.

The majority of participants came from primary and lower secondary schools (almost half of those present at the event). Though in lower numbers, the presence of teachers from technical upper secondary education (7%) and vocational schools (2%), and representatives of higher education (6% if the total of participants) insured that the event allowed most of the key stakeholders in the field of STEM education to get involved, network and share ideas.
