The Sea Change project, funded by the Horizon 2020 framework of the European Union for research and innovation, holds its final conference on 15 February 2018 in Paris, France, at the headquarters of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).

Sea Change aims at increasing Ocean Literacy capacity in Europe, in cooperation with the US and Canada through the Atlantic Ocean Research Alliance, to empower citizens to take direct and sustainable action towards healthy seas and oceans by understanding their reciprocal relationship with the sea.
