The European Learning Laboratory for the Life Sciences (ELLS) and ExploHeidelberg Teaching Lab are holding a two-and-a-half-day professional training course for secondary school teachers from 25 to 27 March 2018 in Heidelberg, Germany.

The programme is a mix of seminars run by scientists, hands-on activities, lab experiments, visits to top research facilities and teaching resources. The course will focus on cutting-edge sequencing technologies and illustrate how topics of DNA sequencing and DNA biology may be transferred to the classroom. Deadline to apply for the course is 10 December 2017.
