Type of event: workshop
Target groups: teachers
Topic: STEM Education
Language of event: English
Do you want to make the ocean a relevant part of your school curriculum trough project-based learning and become a European Blue School?
During February, April, and March, EU4Ocean presents three Science Projects Online Workshops, (SPOW02, SPOW04, SPOW05) for all ages and at all student grade levels, to address one of the three major ocean and sea issues: Food from the Ocean, Climate and Ocean, Healthy and Clean Ocean.
After the workshops, conducted by marine scientists and experienced educators in the field, you will be equipped with the necessary skills to raise student’s awareness and sense of responsibility towards the ocean and to develop a school project on one of these ocean and sea issues.
Once the project is completed, the school will receive the European Blue School certification, becoming part of the Network of European Blue Schools where teachers and students exchange knowledge and experience with other schools promoting sustainability of the ocean and seas.
To attend these workshops, please register via the form below. Let’s connect to the wider ocean literacy community!
